Biography

I’m a postdoc at Polytechnique Montréal since Aug. 2022, working on distributed computing, orchestration and choreography. I did my PhD at Institut Polytechnique de Paris under Prof. Michel Marot on embedded systems and backend infrastructure supporting IoT.

My main research interest is computer networks - simulations, protocols, routing, wireless communications, sofware defined networking, … -, but I also played a bit with cybersecurity, machine learning, virtualization and cloud computing

Why break Condorcet cycles when we can make them disappear?

Using preferential ballots, some elections produce cycles. However, using rated ballots, we propose to maintain most of Arrow’s basic democratic criteria, making Condorcet’s cycles disappear to obtain a coherent sorted list, with grades if needed.

Embedding ML Algorithms onto LPWAN Sensors for Compressed Communications

Lossy compression method using ML techniques for efficient data transmission in LPWANs, focused on balancing compression ratio and accuracy, while analyzing system aspects like energy consumption and error rates, revealed that ML can lead to energy savings in constrained sensor devices.

DNS-based dynamic context resolution for SCHC

Mechanism using DNS for efficient IPv6 communication in LPWANs, particularly LoRaWAN. It focuses on retrieving context rules dynamically from an HTTP server to compress IPv6 and UDP headers for various End Device profiles, evaluating the added communication delay with real testbed measurements.
