TinyML Concepts Tutorial
Course summary
Introduction to Embedded Machine Learning for engineering students as part of the NET 4529 module (M1) at Télécom SudParis.
As part of a tutorial in the module ‘Introduction to Reinforcement Learning in Networks,’ I had the opportunity to introduce students to the underlying concepts of Embedded Machine Learning, especially the specific constraints introduced by hardware or constrained networks.
My tutorial begins with a review of wireless networks and some essential concepts of Machine Learning.
It then surveys the tools and methods that can be implemented to run a Machine Learning algorithm.
Finally, I briefly present part of my research work on network traffic minimization.
The presentation concludes with a question-and-answer session that allows students to delve deeper into the concepts presented and put them into perspective with the project carried out as part of the module.
